Fishing is good. Catfish are spawning and are being caught along the<br>shoreline on several baits. Most are being caught under bobbers set at<br>3' to 5' feet deep. Bluegill are also spawning and are being caught on<br>most small baits, lice and artificial. Whitebass are hitting jigging<br>spoons along the old river channel in 15' to 20' of water. They are not<br>feeding on the surface yet. Largemouth are fair on deep crankbaits on<br>the gravel points. Smallmouth and crappie are slow.<br><br>TIP: Fish very early and late on holiday weekends to avoid the pleasure<br>boaters.<br><br>BIT AND PIECES: The man who thinks he can do anything probably can and<br>the man who thinks he can't probably can't.<br><br>www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
