sandies
#1
Went fishing last night. It seemed like the fish were in all depths. The biiiiggg plastics worked nicely for the bigger grade. The smaller ones were caught on nice size choives and sardines on the bottom with a 4 oz dropper loop with a #1 to #4 hook.Didn't really matter. It was an instant bite for me.I noticed some others were using a 2 oz and not getting much. The leadhead on the plastic must be an oz or more becuase they were tons of macks around.Hopefully this helps the guys who are going fishing for sandies

Thanks for heads up Hara

When you say sandies does that mean Sand Bass or another West Coast species? I would like to look the fish up so I can get a picture in my mind.

I will also drop a link back here when I find em because others might be interested too.

Sounds like the lighter jig heads were drifting down better and maybe not too fast with the big plastic on the rear. What we call 'slow drop angling" down here.

What do you reckon? More time in the stike zone rather than the jigs dropping to fast..

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Moderator Lures/Baits Forum
http://www.demonjigs.com
