Last year me and Shawn got lots of 3 and 4 pound trout here in East Idaho. Nearly everywhere we fished. Not just a few. Limits! And I killed them at Chesterfield on first ice. So here is the list of where we got them:  Henry's,  Magic, American Falls, Twin Lakes at first ice, Blackfoot Reservoir and Chesterfield.
Not to mention Rire. On open water We limited on Kokanee in three hours. 10 Kokes per hour.  We ice fished Rire, couldn't find the Kokenee but the trout are pretty easy to catch. Not the big 3 & 4 pounders though.

So this year I'm expecting to get some in the 5 pound class.
