CONCORD, N.H. -- Fly-fishing enthusiasts, get inspired for the spring fishing season by taking in an adrenaline-rushing, fly-fishing film tour at Chunky's Cinema & Restaurant in Pelham, N.H., at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 13. Advanced tickets are recommended and are available only online at http://www.aegmedia.com for $15 (adult), $12 (seniors) and $10 (children). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. If not sold out, tickets will be sold at the door, cash only. Chunky's Cinema & Restaurant is located at 150 Bridge Street in Pelham, N.H. (603-635-7499).

The "tour" evening includes seven short films that take viewers to some of the most remote places on earth - places like Mongolia in the search for the largest known trout in the world - the Taimen, and Southern Oregon for trophy Steelhead. Film locations also include Alaska, Argentina, Iceland, Patagonia, Bahamas and New Zealand.

New Hampshire Fish and Game Department staff and other fishing experts will be on hand to provide information on local fly-fishing opportunities and destinations. Other conservation organizations will also participate in the event.

"This event is a chance to experience fly-fishing around the world while planning your own adventure here in New Hampshire," said Jon Charpentier, Broadcast Media & Promotions Manager at New Hampshire Fish and Game.

The films are being presented by AEG Media, The Angling Exploration Group, a media production company specializing in adventure fly-fishing entertainment and Loop Fly Tackle and Adventures. The tour showcases some of fly-fishing's most innovative filmmakers. This year's tour will include highlights of films from eight independent filmmakers including AEG Media's highly anticipated upcoming release Fish Bum I: Mongolia - River Wolf. Other films include Equilibrium by Castaway Films, Reel Time by Double Haul Productions, River Poets by Fly On The Wall Travels, Fishizzle by Roll Cast Productions, 4 Seasons of Steelhead by Beaver Hill Productions, Slovenia by Beattie Outdoor Productions and Red Gold by Felt Soul Media.

Now in its third year, the film tour will travel to more than 60 U.S. cities this winter. The films are not the average instructional and stereotypical videos that that have been all too common; they are instead high-energy, expedition documentaries about fly-fishing, mixed with stunning cinematography, crazy mishaps and encounters and cutting-edge music. Some of the films also focus on threats to fisheries and conservation efforts occurring in different parts of the world. AEG Media's mission is to revolutionize the world of fly-fishing, one epic adventure at a time.

AEG's passion for fly-fishing is matched by their conservation mission. They are members of 1% For The Planet, AFFTA, Trout Unlimited and Federation of Fly Fishers. Major sponsors of the 2008 Fly Fishing Film Tour include Patagonia, Costa Del Mar, Scientific Anglers, Volvo, Brunton, Gerber, RO Drift Boats, Rising, Loon, The Drake and Big Sky Inflatables.
