Anyone use the "buggin" technique

Basically fly-fishing with a cain pole. At first I laughed, but then tried it and it def produces. Just wondering if anybody else uses it. I really am having fun with it.

Neat idea. I fly-fish for bluegills on my home lake, and it's very effective for focusing on the biggest fish. I use big wooly buggers tied on 4XL hooks, you can see part of one sticking out of his mouth in this picture. For my guests however, lacking the skills necessary to fly fish, another method is needed to tackle some slab 'gills. Tell me more about the rigs you are using.
