Junes Meeting
#1
With a wife who is liable to give birth any day now I decided to stay home instead of go to the meeting last night. How did it go?

[cool][#0000ff]Hey man, where are your priorities? Women have been having babies by themselves for thousands of years. And anyway, haven't you found out what causes that yet? In the insurance industry that is known as a "self-inflicted" ailment.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Must have been a lot of other members having babies last night. About half our usual attendance. Several late arrivals due to Lee giving them wrong info on the time. You'd think he would have that down "pat" by now.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]We got to see Kevin's new Navigator all set up and in it's glory. Nice craft.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]LeeC reviewed some of the recent discussions at the Utah Anglers Coalition meeting...including the decision by DWR not to raise license fees this year.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I brought along my new Cabelas Tournament 3500 inflatable PFD. Got two of those for TubeBabe and myself on a special deal...save $50 until June 30, with free shipping for Cabelas Club members. Looks like a good PFD for tubers and tooners. You can wear it comfortably without excessive weight or bulk and it will inflate automatically if submerged. Also can be inflated manually.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]We talked about a few waters and recent fishing excursions. Seems a few of us are getting out in between wind and fronts moving through.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I mentioned that I will be out of town for the July meeting, on July 25th. LeeC will coordinate that meeting.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]We also discussed the possibility of having another swap meet session for the August meeting. It was suggested we try to have it in an outdoor venue, like Willow Park Pond. But if anybody else knows of a good place with shade and tables let us know. We also talked about making it open to all members of BFT and publicizing it and putting up signs for the general public...and maybe doing it on a Saturday.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Anybody else got something to add?[/#0000ff]
